A future between tariffs, rare earths and sustainable innovation

In an era marked by geopolitical tensions, instability in supply chains and skyrocketing costs of raw materials, Green Silence Group has a clear vision for the future of the industry. With Spin, Settima and Motive, the Group can take on any challenge on a global level, with a strategic engineering approach towards technology resilience.

A changing world: tariffs and scarcity as change catalyst

The current international context requires a deep replanning of technological choices. Between tariffs, export restrictions, and inflation affecting critical materials – like rare earths – are no longer exceptions, but structural factors that companies must take into account in every project.

Since the beginning, Green Silence Group has been based on three pillars: a clear vision of the future, industrial objectives. This comes together with a rigorous economic assessment and a technical roadmap built on solid engineering foundations. In this scenario, technological diversification is not just a wise choice, but an essential strategy to ensure continuity, competitiveness, and industrial independence.

Spin Engineering Solutions: the future is already in motion

Spin Engineering Solutions is the heart of the group’s research and development. With the launch of SpinRel®, a rare earth-free electric motor, the company marked a turning point in the transition to more sustainable technological solutions. Designed to offer efficiency, reliability, and high performance even under challenging operating conditions, SpinRel® has already begun to gain interest in the international market, finding a perfect fit both in off-highway and electric mobility vehicles.

This is not just an innovative product but a new design philosophy. It demonstrates how sustainability and industrial performance can be combined, without relying on critical and unstable resources.

The new horizon: new materials for rare-earth-free motors

SpinRel® is only the beginning. The Group, especially the R&D department of Spin Engineering Solutions, is already at work on new materials which can replace permanent magnet with rare earths – eye of the storm of the recent industrial emergency. Spin’s CEO, Alessandro Tassi, accentuates how Italian companies – historical client of the Group, are looking for alternative and reliable solutions which can replace rare earths in electric motors.

Tassi explains: “We are receiving urgent requests from companies that can’t find the materials they need to maintain production. They ask us how to keep their edge in the industrial world, focusing both on innovation and industrial costs”.

From this high demand, Spin is pursuing an ambitious project with an American company for the development of a new materials for electric motors. The project, presented last September at a global event in the United States, is currently confidential, but promises to be a game changer for the entire industry. The promise is clear: new technical solutions capable of ensuring high performance without resorting to traditional permanent magnets.

Towards a New Industrial Era

Green Silence Group demonstrates how at any time, an awareness-driven innovation can be key to building an industrial future that focuses on sustainability and technological advancement. Looking ahead, given the complex situation regarding rare earths, we believe in rethinking the whole system of electro-mechanical production, investing in research, international alliances and materials of the future.

In a world that keeps changing, those who can read the clues and transform them in opportunities, will be able to drive the transition.
